LSU Theatre MFA Students Join with LSU Law Students for “Ladies and Gentlemen of the Jury” Presentations Nov. 8

BATON ROUGE – Master of Fine Arts students in the LSU Department of Theatre will be assisting LSU Law students in presenting specially crafted closing statements today, November 8, from 3-5 p.m. at the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center.

As part of the project, each LSU Law student taking part selected a closing statement from the book “Ladies and Gentlemen of the Jury: Greatest Closing Arguments in Modern Law” to present to their peers. The theatre students have each been partnered with the law students to dialogue and interact, as well as to provide acting coaching on the respective closing statements.  This cross-training on an intimate one-on-one within the classroom setting provides a distinctive opportunity for both the LSU Theatre and LSU Law professional training programs.

For more information, contact Jacquelyn Craddock with the LSU Department of Theatre at or call 225-578-9277.
