Stroy is an award-winning news producer at WBRZ-TV in Baton Rouge, where she produces the morning show, 2une In. She started her television career in 2003 at KSLA-TV 12 in Shreveport as a production assistant and worked her way up to producer before accepting a position in Baton Rouge in 2006. Cheryl is a Shreveport native and a two-time Southern University and A&M College graduate with a Bachelor and Master of Arts in Mass Communication in Broadcast Journalism. She is the current president of the Baton Rouge Area Association of Black Journalists (BRAABJ), and a member of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ).
