Juan Cruz

Cruz created and manages a successful independent consulting practice for community-based and government-sponsored health and social service agencies, and small businesses. Services include training, curriculum development, cultural competency services, project management, program and organizational development, and strategic planning.

Cruz’s current projects include leading infrastructure retrofit projects that facilitate public safety and community integration, a function that occurs in partnership with volunteers from multi-ethnic Baton Rouge neighborhood organizations. Other recent projects include reviewing proposals for the East Baton Rouge Parish Human Services Department, successfully facilitating an emergency bridge loan for a local health clinic, and spearheading the submission of a multi-agency, multi-departmental parish E.P.A. sustainable neighborhood technical assistance proposal.
