Dr. Shaniece Bickham

Dr. Bickham is a visiting instructor in public relations at LSU’s Manship School of Mass Communication. She received her Ph.D. in Mass Communication from the University of Southern Mississippi. She earned her M.A. from Loyola University New Orleans and her B.A. from Dillard University. Her research interest is in crisis communication with an emphasis on source credibility. Shaniece’s previous industry experience includes serving as managing editor of the New Orleans Data News Weekly and as a community columnist for The Times-Picayune. She has also worked in community affairs and media relations for the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation.
