Biography

Jacqueline (Jax) Jeffries is currently an academic counselor at the Manship School of Mass Communication. Jax has been at LSU since 2020 and previously worked as an academic counselor for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. Jax is a two-time graduate from Hawai’i Pacific University with a B.A. in social sciences and a M.A. in clinical mental health counseling. During that time, Jax helped pioneer the Acrobatics & Tumbling program, a new NCAA Emerging Sport for Women. Prior to LSU, Jax worked as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the Women’s Acrobatics & Tumbling team at the University of Oregon.
