Understanding the Point System
- Over the course of the semester, participants earn points by doing activities with their partner. Participants are awarded the points only upon successful completion of the final presentation. Points are redeemable for use on any international summer, excursion, intersession, or semester or year-long APA study abroad program.
- A scholarship recipient must earn a minimum of 100 points in order to redeem the points. Points can be accumulated over multiple semesters. The maximum number of points that a student may earn is 500. Points may be redeemed in the following manner
- All points must be earned prior to a student's intended study abroad program departure date. Points may be used for more than one study abroad program.
- Points can only be used for APA-sponsored study abroad programs.
