International Education Week 2020
What is International Education Week?
International Education Week (IEW) is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of State designed to showcase international education and foster inter-cultural understanding. IEW's mission is particularly relevant in 2020, which has been upturned by global health concerns and travel restrictions as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now more than ever, we celebrate the importance of international education and the global connections shared by LSU students, staff, and alumni around the world.
We encourage our LSU community to participate in our virtual events. If you share the fun on social media, be sure to tag LSU and use #LSUIEW and #IEW2020.
