Mentor Application Form | LSU Innovation & Technology Commercialization

Mentor Application

This application is to be used if you are applying to the LSU NSF I-Corps Sites Program as a Mentor. If accepted into the program, you will be paired with an Academic Lead and an Entrepreneurial Lead and a specific LSU technology.

It is expected that LSU NSF I-Corps Sites awardees will complete a 6 week course which will prepare you and your team to apply for the NSF I-Corps Teams program which provides funding of $50,000 to do deeper market and commercialization proof-of-concept work around your technology. Groups that go through the NSF I-Corps Teams program are three times more likely to receive NSF SBIR/STTR funds (Phase 1 awards are roughly $150,000).

Only apply if you are interested in spending several hours per week mentoring a faculty and/or student team throughout the program.
