After earning my PhD from LSU in 2013, I worked as an adjunct Instructor in the Department of Sociology at LSU and in the Department of Criminal Justice at River Parishes Community College. My primary focus today is teaching courses and improving my teaching methods. My areas of interest include criminology, criminal justice, violence, deviance, and the intersection of gender and crime.
