In 2017, I joined the sociology department at LSU as an adjunct instructor. I graduated with my Master’s in Sociology from SUNY Albany in 2012 and am currently completing my PhD in Sociology at SUNY Albany. My dissertation research investigates the utility of work-family balance in explaining differences in marital satisfaction by parental status. I have been teaching fully online courses since 2013 and enjoy this format of teaching very much. My specialty areas are families and aging, and I have taught numerous courses in those areas including: Sociology of Families, Sociology of Aging and Death and Dying. During my teaching career, I have also taught courses including: Introduction to Sociology, Research Methods, Sociology of Gender and Criminology.
