East Baton Rouge District Attorney's Office Crime Strategies Unit (CSU) Spring 2019 Internships

The East Baton Rouge District Attorney's Office is recruiting six to eight interns to work in the Crime Strategies Unit (CSU) during the upcoming Spring semester.  The goal of this unit is to facilitate the distribution of information about recent criminal activity to local law enforcement agencies so that policing in the parish can be conducted more efficiently.  An interest in criminology or criminal justice and a strong performance in the research methods (SOCL 2211) course are helpful, but not required.  I cannot stress enough how great of an opportunity this is for students interested in pursuing a career in a crime or law-related field or a general career in applied data analysis.  Here are a couple of news stories about the CSU for some additional background:
