Dr. Michelle Meyer selected for NAS Gulf Research Fellowship

Dr. Michelle Meyer, Assistant Professor, has been selected as one of 10 tenure-track faculty members from across the country to participate in the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine's Early Career Gulf Research Fellowship program! The program coordinates researchers from a variety of disciplines with 10 Science Policy Fellows who are working in public agencies to support research on issues critical to Gulf Coast communities.

Fellows were selected based on "exceptional leadership, past performance, and potential for future contributions to improving oil system safety, human health and well being, or environmental protection."
