Dr. Roider recognized on retirement

The decades-long teaching and research career of Prof. Karl Roider was recognized in a recent article in the Daily Reveille. Dr. Roider was a very popular teacher served in administratative capacities at LSU, including dean of the then-College of Arts and Sciences and, most frequently, as Undergraduate Adviser and overseer of the Secondary Education program for History majors. In the article he spoke particularly of his fondness for the students with whom he had come into contact, and of still being recognized by former students who sometimes encounter him years after graduating from LSU.
