Charley Silvio is a PhD student specializing in Rhetoric, Writing, and Culture. His
interests are primarily in rhetorical theory, technical communication, and ethics.
He has been teaching composition for almost a decade, and he also teaches courses in business writing and composition tutoring. He works with LSU's Communication Across the Curriculum to train communication mentors. His conference presentations include topics on digital rhetoric, disability and the ADA, and workplace culture.
Charley is currently working on his dissertation, exploring potential applications of Levinasian ethics for technical communication.
