Laurie Lynn Drummond published a linked story collection, Anything You Say Can and Will be Used Against You in 2004; it won the Texas Institute of Letters Best Book Award and the Writers' League of Texas Best Book Award, and one of the stories won an Edgar Award for best short story. Her essays have appeared in Creative Nonfiction, Brevity, RiverTeeth and Fourth Genre.She has taught writing for thirty years, most recently here at LSU where she offers a service-learning ENGL 2000 class on Animal Welfare and the Natural World.
