The Master of Arts (M.A.) education program in speech-language pathology at Louisiana State University and A&M College has been placed on probation by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, 2200 Research Boulevard, #310, Rockville, MD 20850, 800-498-2071 or 301-296-5700. A program on probation is not currently in full compliance with the accreditation standards. Programs on probation remain accredited but must demonstrate compliance with the standards within one year.

LSU was out of compliance in 2021 for omitting (M.A.) in the above statement, and for failing to update the Student Outcome Data in January 2022.  In accordance with the rule of two consecutive standard 1.9 violations, we are on probation until the chart is updated and approved at a future CAA board meeting.
