A Cut Above
The LSU Robert Reich School of Landscape Architecture is the best in the nation, with
both undergraduate and graduate programs consistently ranked first. This year marks
the sixth time the undergraduate program has been number one, cutting a path through
The French Embassy to the United States designated LSU French as a centre d'excellence,
an honor given to only 15 university French programs in the United States. The French
surnames of LSU football players are a reminder of 400 years of French heritage in
our state. Vive la Louisiane!

The LSU Museum of Natural Science has discovered 41 species of birds and has one of
the largest collections of birds in the world (more than 173,000 specimens). So, you
can see, we're pretty high up in the pecking order.
