During times of crisis, Family Experience strives to keep parents informed through social media and email updates. In emergency situations, the LSU Emergency Operations Center disperses information throughout the LSU community, and Family Experience works to relay that information to families.
The first line of communication in the event of an emergency is the emergency text messaging system, which is available to students, faculty and staff. Having your student subscribe to this service will ensure that all emergency communications are delivered directly to their cell phone.
