Who can attend?

I am not an admitted student. Can I attend Destination: LSU?

Destination: LSU is meant for admitted students to explore their prospective majors and academic interests. However, if you will be in the Baton Rouge area anyway and you have an idea of what your academic interests are, we would be happy to register you for the event, provided there is still space.

Can I bring a friend with me to Destination: LSU?

We ask that all guests who are in high school register for the event separately. This helps us plan accordingly.

Should parents attend the event with their student?

Parents are welcome to attend the event with their student. We do have students that attend the event alone as well. It is a personal preference.

Can my other child attend the event as well?

You are welcome to bring a sibling. We do ask that if your sibling is in high school, he/she should register for the event separately.

Do you offer large group visits on Destination: LSU dates?

We do not offer group visits on Destination: LSU dates. Destination: LSU is based on each student’s academic and involvement interests, and we feel that students better explore these interests when they are not in high school or organization groups. Also, space is limited at each Destination: LSU, and registration is required to attend.
