College of Engineering to Graduate 312 Students at Fall 2016 Commencement Ceremony

 

The College of Engineering will graduate the 312 students at Louisiana State University’s 291st commencement ceremony on Friday, December 16, at 11:30 a.m. in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on the Baton Rouge campus.

Among those graduates, 232 students are receiving their bachelor’s degrees, 36 are receiving their master’s degrees, and nine are receiving their Ph.D.’s. There are also 35 students receiving post-baccalaureate certificates.

Graduates from the College of Engineering represent 33 Louisiana parishes, 21 states and 24 foreign countries.

The speaker is Lucas LeBlanc, a graduating senior in industrial engineering from Lockport, Louisiana.
