An arcade-comic fighting game built around LSU Computer Science & Engineering faculty. The opening begins with one arcade-comic splash, then returns to the stable paced animated intro with the full roster, spoken dialogue, one-button research powers, and the multi-track soundtrack.
Pick your fighter. Their powers stay pinned at the top while you browse.
Pick the matchup. The arena button stays pinned at the top, so there is no need to scroll back down.
Each stage is original game art inspired by publicly visible LSU campus landmarks and atmosphere.

This build keeps the fighting-game feel but makes every research power a single button. Every research power can have a spoken move-name callout; those power voices can be switched on or off during the fight.
| ← / → | Walk. Double tap still gives you a quick dash feel. |
| ↑ | Jump. Press J or K in the air to attack. |
| ↓ | Crouch. J and K become low attacks. |
| SHIFT | Block. Specials cause a little chip damage. |
| J | Light attack. Fast and easy to chain. |
| K | Heavy attack. Slower, harder hit. |
| L | Signature Power: the professor’s named research projectile / signature attack. |
| I | Rising Power: invincible anti-air / uppercut-style research move. |
| O | Research Burst: fast projectile / pressure attack. |
| P | Research Rush: advancing special attack. |
| U at 60% meter | Ultimate Research Super. Big damage, screen flash, spoken super name. |
Power voices: Use the 🎙 POWER VOICES button on the fight screen to enable or mute the spoken names of Signature, Rise, Burst, Rush, and Ultimate moves. Music, move sound effects, announcer speech, and character-selection name announcements are unaffected.
Faculty roster, portraits, and research areas: LSU Division of Computer Science & Engineering public faculty directory, accessed August 7, 2026.
Campus visual references: LSU public pages for Patrick F. Taylor Hall / College of Engineering, Tiger Stadium imagery, LSU Memorial Tower/Quad imagery, and University Lakes. The arena graphics in this game are newly drawn/stylized game scenes, not copied photographs.
Splash theme: a bundled original 200 BPM arcade-metal game mix begins on the START GAME press, with a bundled 184 BPM alternate fallback. No network load is required for the opening music.
Music: freely available CC0 tracks from OpenGameArt.org. When online, the game attempts to stream the selected stage track. If browser/network policy blocks it, a synthesized chiptune fallback is used.
Original game code, UI, arena rendering, muscular fighter bodies, spoken move system, particles and synthesized SFX: created for this prototype. The LSU faculty likenesses are cartoonized derivatives of public directory portraits and are integrated into original arcade-fighter bodies.
This is unofficial, non-commercial fan-style prototype content and is not endorsed by LSU. Fighting-game mechanics are genre conventions; no Street Fighter sprites, music, stages, logos, interface art, or source code are used.
