Congrats to Matthew Jordan on his paper 'Promoting water-splitting in Janus bipolar ion-exchange resin wafers for electrodeionization'. The increased rate of water splitting fosters regeneration of the ion-exchange resin bed without the need for chemicals. Further, it is useful in niche applications such as organic acid capture and silica removal from water.
