Audiences around the world are captivated by Marvel's newest film, "Black Panther." LSU's Isiah Lavender III, an assistant professor of English, studies American literature and popular culture, specifically African-American literature, race and ethnicity in speculative fiction, particularly African-American writers in the science fiction genre, shared his expertise about the movie.


The LSU College of the Coast & Environment, CC&E, will host a two-day lecture series titled "Coral Reefs in Crisis" on March 1-2 in the Dalton J. Woods Auditorium of the Energy, Coast & Environment Building.
