The Graduate Assistant for the LGBTQ+ Project & Safe Space Campaign is a full-time Master's or Doctoral student who has a demonstrated success with student development trends, challenges faced by LGBTQ+ students, and programming/event planning. They work closely with faculty, students, and staff to develop and coordinate programs, activities, and events of particular significance to the LGBTQ+ student experience such as the Louisiana Queer Conference, World Aids Day, Lavender Graduation, and National Coming Out Day. In addition, they lead and coordinate Safe Space Trainings across campus and oversee the development of the Safe Space Campaign and facilitators. They assist in advising student organizations Spectrum, Qroma, and Louisiana Trans Advocates.

Ethan is a native of Augusta, Georgia. He received his Bachelor's degree in Political Science at Augusta University in 2017. Ethan is a first year Master's student in Communication Studies at LSU.
