Visiting Assistant Professor of Voice
Diane Robinson (she/her pronouns) is a theater artist specializing in working with voice with actors, business leaders and the transgender community. She has recently worked on NBC's Chicago Fire, and with Eclipse Theater Company, Roosevelt University, Chicago Sinfonietta, Grant Park Music Festival, Rush Medical Center, Howard Brown Health, Center on Halsted and Second City Chicago. Diane has been a member of Actors Equity since 1987 and has performed and directed professionally for 30 years. Diane has taught in actor training programs around the country, including Columbia College Chicago, Northwestern University, DePaul University, Elmhurst College, Cal State Long Beach, U. Texas at El Paso, San Francisco State University, San Diego State and the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Diane is a certified Fitzmaurice Voicework teacher and her MFA in Acting is from the University of California. Diane chairs the Teaching and Learning Committee for the Voice And Speech Trainers Association.
