MLIS Program & Performance
The School of Library & Information Science MLIS program has been continuously accredited
by the American Library Association since 1931 and remains the only ALA accredited
program in Louisiana. The MLIS program at LSU is accredited by the American Library
Association Committee on Accreditation, with the status of Conditional accreditation.
The next comprehensive review visit is scheduled for Spring 2022.
