SLHRD Professor, Robinson, Receives Two Awards at Inventorship Showcase


Petra A. Robinson, an assistant professor in the School of Leadership & Human Resource Development's (SLHRD), won two awards from the LSU Office of Innovation and Technology Commercialization at the second annual Inventorship Showcase on April 19, 2016.

Robinson received recognition at the showcase for her two recently published books, Black Faculty in the Academy: Narratives for Negotiating Identity and Achieving Career Success and Priorities of the Professoriate: Engaging Multiple forms of Scholarship across Rural and Urban Institutions.

Dr. Robinson's publications share crucial assets of human resource and organizational development, and her recognition highlights how often and how widely they can be applied to different professions, industries, and places. 

The showcase is part of LSU’s efforts to highlight the work of faculty in relation to development in technology and creative works. This year’s event recognized works completed between July 1, 2014 and June 30, 2015.
