Dr. Sunyoung Park returns from the AHRD Conference

Dr. Sunyoung Park, Assistant Professor in the School of Leadership and Human Resource Development, has returned from 2018 AHRD International Conference in Richmond, Virginia.
At the Academic of Human Resource Development (AHRD) conference, Dr. Park presented 6 research papers related to adaptive performance, informal learning, learning organization, massive open online courses (MOOCs), organizational citizenship behavior, and work engagement. She also presented one poster about adult learning in online environments, which was co-authored with Dr. Petra Robinson.

As the LSU SLHRD’s representative, Dr. Park attended the Program Excellence Network (PEN) meeting for networking with universities having HRD programs. In addition, Dr. Park served as the Proceedings Editor for the conferences.
About Dr. Sunyoung Park
Dr. Park received her PhD from the University of Minnesota in Human Resource Development (HRD). Her research interests concern organizational culture and behavior, learning and performance in the workplace, leadership, and research trends in HRD and related fields. Her teaching focuses on the fields of instructional design, performance analysis, training and development, and research methods.
About Dr. Petra Robinson
Petra A. Robinson, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor at Louisiana State University (LSU) and the Advisor for students in the LSU Online MSc Human Resource Education and Leadership Development and MSc. Workforce Development programs. She received her PhD in Educational Administration and Human Resource Development from Texas A&M University with a focus on Adult Education. Keenly interested in issues related to critical literacies, diversity and social justice, global lifelong learning, and professional development in the academy.
