LSU stands as the only Southeastern Conference school on the list, ranked sixth overall. The ranking system uses a three-category structure in order to find the top programs by taking affordability, flexibility, and academic prestige into account.

Students in the online program learn about the many facets of the sport industry and also can specialize their degree by taking electives tailored to their personal career goals and preferences.

“It’s great news for our online program to be ranked in this list as we have only been in existence for a year now,” Dr. Martinez, LSU Director of Online Programs for the School of Kinesiology, said. “Building on LSU’s athletic reputation, we hope to become one of the premier programs in this field. Our faculty are equipped with real world experience, and having a strong athletic program provides us with great teaching examples right at home.”
