Students will discuss adult learning, instructional approaches, course/workshop design and delivery, and evaluation while considering these questions:

How do I plan for and prepare to teach an undergraduate or graduate education course in my field?

How do I plan and prepare for a professional development workshop in my school or district?

Course readings and discussions will be supplemented with guest presentations from teacher education faculty. The motivation behind this course is to support and mentor PhD students interested in going into academia, and MEd and EdS students responsible for, or interested in, planning professional development workshops in their school or district.
