Q: Why did you choose Elementary Grades Education as your major?

A: I want to change the lives of young children in a positive way by influencing them through learning in the classroom.

Q: What are you most excited for this semester?

A: I am most excited about being in more Education major classes that require fieldwork in the classroom.

Q: Why did you apply to be a CHSE Ambassador?

A: I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and be apart of an organization that would encourage me and help guide me in the right direction.

Q: What advice would you give to someone contemplating your major?

A: It is one of the most rewarding jobs you could have. You are able to make a positive difference in a child’s life so they have the potential to grow up and be productive citizens in the community that strive to better themselves and others.

Q: What is something that surprised you about LSU or CHSE?

A: CHSE is very welcoming and encouraging to all students. They are willing to help in any way possible. CHSE truly cares about each individual student’s success.

A: I plan to teach any grades, 2nd – 5th, in Baton Rouge or a surrounding city

An interesting fact about me is Disney World is my favorite place to visit!

My dream job would be being the Dean of the College of Education at any university.

My favorite LSU tradition is singing ‘Calling Baton Rouge’ at the football games!
