CC&E Celebrates Summer Graduation
The College of the Coast & Environment, or CC&E, Summer 2018 Graduation Ceremony was held on Friday, August 3. Three undergraduate degrees, four master’s degrees, and one doctoral degree were conferred on nine graduates. Graduates completed a rigorous curriculum on topics critical to maintaining a healthy environment for humans, marine life, coastal plants and animals, ecosystem health, and water quality. The knowledge and skills these students develop through CC&E’s multi-disciplinary, research-intensive degree programs provide the foundation for exciting careers. For example, previous CC&E alumni have gone on to become coastal ecologists, environmental specialists, public health officials, lawyers, doctors, veterinarians, writers, disaster responders, and more.
