Brandon Champagne, Tiger Twelve Recipient
Congratulations to undergraduate Coastal Environmental Sciences senior Brandon Champagne for being named a 2018 Tiger Twelve recipient. This prestigious honor is awarded to only 12 students each spring by the Office of the Dean of Students for their positive contributions to LSU and the greater community. This year marks the 16th anniversary of the Tiger Twelve.
According to the Office of the Dean of Students, the Tiger Twelve must “hold themselves to the highest standards of academic, personal, and social integrity; practice justice, equality, and compassion in human relations; and respect the dignity of all persons and accept individual differences.”
Champagne is heavily involved in on-campus activities and pursuing academic excellence. He is a member of LSU’s Tiger Marching Band and LSU Coastal Environmental Science Advocates, and he is a LASAL Scholar in the Ogden Honors College. The Louisiana Service and Leadership (LASAL) Scholars Program prepares students for leadership in public service, social justice, and environmental sustainability.
Champagne is the first CC&E student to ever be named one of the Tiger Twelve. Join us in celebrating his achievement!
