Career Assessments

An important part of the career decision-making process is identifying your interests, abilities, work values, and personality preferences.

By increasing self-awareness in these key areas, you can make a more informed career choice. To help with self-evaluation, we offer multiple career assessments to explore your strengths.

If you would like to speak with a staff member to determine which ones would benefit you, contact the LSU Olinde Career Center at 225-578-2162. After completing an online assessment, we hope you will meet with a career counselor for an interpretation of your results. We'll help you understand how to begin to put the results to work for you.

To schedule your appointment with a career counselor, log into Handshake and under the Career Center tab, select Appointments to begin scheduling. You may also call 225-578-2162 or stop by 158 LSU Student Union. We are open 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and closed on university holidays.

It is important to note that there are fees associated with taking some assessments. For tests with fees, you have the option of charging associated payments to your fee bill or paying by check, money order, or credit card.
