LSU’s Department of Public Administration Welcomes New Assistant Professor Anmol Soni

The Department of Public Administration would like to formally welcome assistant professor, Anmol Soni. Soni is currently teaching PADM 5009 Data Analytics for Public Administration I.
“The Department of Public Administration is delighted to have Dr. Anmol Soni join us as an assistant professor. Dr. Soni’s research expertise in energy policy will be an excellent addition to the department and to the university. She has already proven to be an excellent colleague,” commented interim chair Roy Heidelberg.
"It's been an exciting journey to be a part of the Department of Public Administration at LSU right from the interview process to the classroom. I have enjoyed working with the students who are adeptly engaged with the course material both within the classroom and outside in today's hybrid learning environment," said Soni.
Soni recently earned her PhD from Georgia State University & Georgia Institute of Technology specializing in public policy. She received both her master's and undergraduate degrees from the University of Delhi. Her research interests include environment and energy policy, transportation policy, and international development. In addition, she is working on research project including electric vehicles, autonomous vehicles, and climate finance.
