Jumping into Business Scheduled for September 4 and 5

BATON ROUGE – Professional development and student involvement are at the core of “Jumping into Business,” the annual back-to-school event for LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business students. Scheduled for Sept. 4-5, Jumping into Business is hosted by the Business College Council.

Wednesday, Sept. 4

Student Organization Fair | 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. | BEC Courtyard

Joining a student organization builds friendships, expands your network and enhances the academic experience, meet representatives of the college’s many student organizations to learn which group best matches your interests and goals. Free snowballs will be served from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Résumé Review & Professional Prep Event | 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. | BEC Rotunda

Prepare for upcoming career events by receiving expert advice in a consequence-free environment. The OBSS Professional Development team and business alumni will help polish your résumé and “elevator pitch.” Put your most professional face forward on LinkedIn with a free professional headshot. Make sure to bring your résumé and wear professional business attire.

Thursday, Sept. 5
