LSU Professional Sales Institute senior, Taylor Benoit, won the 2020 International Collegiate Sales Competition (ICSC) this weekend, making her the country's top sales student. The victory marks a significant accomplishment for Benoit and the LSU PSI.  Benoit bested competitors from eighty-one schools to win the title.

"Winning ICSC was the perfect way to cap off my last semester here at LSU," said Benoit. "This accomplishment would not have been possible without the skills I learned from my coach, Greg Accardo; the help of my teammates, Avery Fortenberry, Sam Allen, and Hope Hoffman; and, of course, the support of my family. I am excited about my future in sales because of what the LSU Professional Sales Institute has given me this past year. Geaux Pro Sales, Geaux Tigers!"

"This is a big deal. It's akin to winning the Masters," said Greg Accardo, director, instructor, and Professional Sales advisor of the LSU Professional Sales Institute. "Taylor is officially the top sales student in the country. It does not get any bigger than this!  We are getting messages from all over the country congratulating LSU and Taylor. I've been here for six years and this is the first time one of our students has place first in the country."

The ICSC is the nation's largest sales role-play and sales management event, with participating professional sales students representing more than 80 universities. Hosted by the FSU Sales Institute, the competition challenges students in all aspects of professional selling and sales management. Participation is by invitation only.
