Ourso College of Business in partnership with the Louisiana Bankers Association is responding to the needs of industry with the LBA/Ourso Credit Analyst Education Program which provides education and training for new hires or experienced bankers who are transitioning into commercial lending.
The program uses curriculum provided by the American Bankers Association (ABA) for the ABA Certificate in Business and Commercial Lending, which focuses on financial statement analysis and commercial lending. This program is designed to provide credit analysts, credit officers, personal bankers, loan documentation specialists, loan review officers, bank managers, and consumer and mortgage lenders with the skills needed to support the lending functions in their bank effectively. Ideally, attendees will have a basic understanding of accounting and will have had some preliminary analysis of financial statement experience.
