BATON ROUGE – LSU professional sales students recently competed in the Great Northwoods Sales Warm-Up, held by the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where they gained valuable experience and met with corporate recruiters.
Professional Sales Institute students Bao Le, Kathryn Matherne, and Connor Scott competed in the competition and were led by faculty coach Greg Accardo. Competitors prepared two 20-minute sales presentations – one for a product and one for a service. The pitches were judged by a team of sales professionals acting as buyers. Matherne, considered the LSU champion, ranked 28 out of 70 participants. She also received the team award for being the top LSU student.
