Professor Chance Invited to Prestigious Australian University as Visiting Scholar

Professor Elizabeth Sheedy of the Macquarie Applied Finance Centre applied for and received 10,000 Australian dollars from the Macquarie Faculty of Business and Economics Visiting International Scholar Award fund to support Chance’s visit. “I’ll be studying risk ethics with Professor Sheedy and various other topics that may arise as well as giving various lectures on campus and possibly in Sydney,” said Chance as well as giving various lectures on campus and possibly in Sydney.

This will be Chance’s second time collaborating with Sheedy who teaches courses in Financial Risk Management in Macquarie’s Master of Applied Finance program, having spent time at Macquarie in 2014. Sheedy is responsible for all courses in the Risk Management specialization and has been teaching in Singapore and Australia for more than 20 years, gaining a broad knowledge of all aspects of risk (credit, operational, liquidity, and market risk).
