LSU Professional Sales Institute to Hold Symposium

BATON ROUGE – The inaugural LSU Sales Symposium will benefit sales professionals at all levels with sessions exploring the latest in sales management, technology, messaging, CRM and inbound sales. The symposium will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Nov. 16 at the Business Education Complex on the LSU campus. This event is organized by the LSU Professional Sales Institute, part of the Department of Marketing in the E. J. Ourso College of Business.
“Technology has created a challenging landscape for sales professionals,” said LSU PSI Director Greg Accardo. “Business-to-business sales is more difficult than ever before. Adaptation is the key to exceeding sales goals. The LSU Sales Symposium will introduce attendees to the future of professional selling. Sales executives, managers and reps will gain valuable insight into the latest trends and advances critical to sales success.”
The keynote is JD Sherman, president and COO of HubSpot, an inbound marketing and sales software that helps companies attract visitors, convert leads and close customers.

The individual registration fee is $125 per person and includes lunch, a cocktail networking reception and parking. Companies may select the corporate package which includes admission for 10 individuals for $1,000.
