LSU Center for Internal Auditing to hold conference Oct. 16-17

The LSU Center for Internal Auditing Conference is held each fall.

BATON ROUGE – The LSU Center for Internal Auditing (LSUCIA) will hold a conference for alumni and friends of the program on Oct. 16-17, 2017. The conference, to be held at L’Auberge Casino Hotel in Baton Rouge, allows attendees to network and share ideas while gaining continuing professional education.
The program is designed for all experience levels. Session topics include litigation
involving internal auditors, container technology, enterprise risk management, social
engineering, third-party risk management, best practices in internal audit, and IT
challenges.
The Louisiana and Texas state boards of accountancy have approved continuing professional
education (CPE) for the conference. Attendees may register for the full two-conference
(16 CPE hours) or a single day (eight CPE hours).
Registration is $450 for the full conference or $225 for single-day access. The fee includes a continental breakfast and lunch. A reception is also included on Oct. 16.
