Masters Programs Maintain Top-20 Rankings by Eduniversal Title

June 17, 2017

BATON ROUGE – Eduniversal released its annual best masters rankings recently, placing the E. J. Ourso College of Business’ Master of Public Administration and Master of Science in Finance programs 17th and 20th, respectively, among public colleges and universities in the United States.

The MPA program was ranked in the “Best Masters Ranking in Public Administration/Management” category and the MS in Finance in the “Best Masters Ranking in Corporate Finance.”

This is the sixth annual edition of these rankings, which rate 4,000 masters programs for 30 majors across the world.

“LSU continues to offer an excellent graduate education in public administration and public policy,” said Jared Llorens, director of the LSU Public Administration Institute. “We appreciate the recognition by Eduniversal and will continue our ongoing efforts to provide a high-quality graduate education for students seeking careers in public service.”

“The MS program in finance is one of the hidden gems at LSU,” said Rajesh Narayanan, chair of the LSU Department of Finance. “The Eduniversal rankings provide market affirmation of its quality. The rankings are a testament to the caliber of students, the commitment of the faculty and the alumni support associated with the program.”

Eduniversal’s rankings are based on three criteria:

  • The reputation of the program.
  • The career prospects and the salary level of the first employment after graduation.
  • The satisfaction feedback of the students.
