Flores MBA Program Makes Leap in USNWR Online Rankings

BATON ROUGE – U.S. News & World Report released its 2017 Best Online MBA Program rankings today, placing the LSU Online Flores MBA Program T-38 among public colleges and universities and T-47 overall on its list of 239 ranked programs.

In 2016, the online track was ranked T-75 among public institutions and T-105 overall.

It’s the second high ranking in 10 months for the Flores MBA Program by USNWR, as the entire program was slotted No. 33 in the nation among public schools, an increase of 11 spots from the previous year.

“We’re excited about this most recent ranking,” said Dana Hart, director of the Flores MBA Program. “We continue to attract outstanding students to this program, a distinguished group of professionals who are doing great things around the world. This ranking clearly recognizes the value of the LSU brand, as well as the return on investment students enjoy when they graduate.

In compiling the 2017 rankings, USNWR ranked online MBA programs using five categories – student engagement (28 percent), admissions selectivity (25 percent), peer reputation (25 percent), faculty credentials and training (11 percent), and student services and technology (11 percent).
