Pair of Students Awarded University Medals

BATON ROUGE – LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business graduates Erika Haguette of Lake Charles, La. and Dylan Perez of Covington, La. were each recognized as University Medalists during the Fall 2016 Diploma Ceremony.

Medals are awarded to those students who earned a GPA of 4.0 or higher during their time at LSU.

Haguette earned her bachelor’s degree in international trade and finance with a concentration in empirical economic analysis and plans to pursue a master’s in economics. During her time at LSU, she made the LSU Chancellor’s Honor Roll, received the Tiger Excellence Resident Award, and was a member of Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity, among other activities.

Perez earned his bachelor’s in accounting and plans to remain at LSU and pursue a master’s of accountancy. He was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, LSU Chancellor’s Honor Roll, and received a number of scholarships and academic awards.
