PAISA, Forum 35 to Host Baton Rouge Mayor-President Runoff Forum

November 9, 2016

BATON ROUGE – Recent polling of the Baton Rouge Mayor-President race suggests that a runoff election could likely occur after voting concludes on November 8.

The LSU Public Administration Institute Student Association (PAISA) and Forum 35 have collaborated with the student government associations of LSU, Southern University and Baton Rouge Community College to host a Runoff Forum with the two remaining Baton Rouge Mayor-President candidates - Sharon Weston Broome and Bodi White. The event will be held at the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business Auditorium from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Nov. 14.

The forum will be moderated by Barry Erwin, president and chief executive officer of Council for A Better Louisiana (CABL), and will feature questions developed by the hosts of the event.

This event is open to the general public and there is no fee to attend.

Forum 35 is an all-volunteer community comprised of over 600 young men and women improving Baton Rouge. Forum 35 is a nonprofit organization that depends on individual membership and the generosity of corporate partners including L’Auberge Casino & Hotel Baton Rouge, Entergy and Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers.
