Economics Professor Carter Teaching in Finland This Summer

​​BATON ROUGE - LSU Economics Professor Carter Hill has been invited to teach a PhD course in econometrics this summer at the Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki, Finland. The course is targeted primarily to Ph.D. students in accounting at the school.

The aim of the course is to provide students with extensive knowledge about the main econometric analysis methods used in business research.

The Department of Economics at LSU’s E. J. Ourso College of Business offers courses that provide its undergraduate and graduate students an intellectual challenge and strong analytic training and the tools to understand the economic and social problems faced both domestically and internationally. The faculty’s dedication to quality teaching and research is reflected by numerous awards received and peer-reviewed scholarly articles published in high-quality economic journals.
