Bragaw Featured in Article on Helping Businesses Find Capital
January 16, 2015
BATON ROUGE – Nathan Bragaw, assistant professor of management in the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business, was one of three local business professionals featured in the Baton Rouge Business Report’s recent “Case Study: What Should I Consider Before Seeking a Business Loan?” article.
The piece questioned executives and experts on what the best source of outside capital is and what goes into deciding the best place to look for loans for one’s business needs.
Bragaw; who is featured along with Dan Adler, senior vice president of corporate lending for BancorpSouth, and Will Campbell Jr., director of the Louisiana Small Business Development Center at Southern University; said that businesses should consider three things – where to get the loan, when to get the loan and why the loan is needed.
The Rucks Department of Management at LSU’s E. J. Ourso College of Business endeavors to prepare students for careers in fields such as international management, human resources, entrepreneurship and industrial/labor relations. A generous donation by LSU alumnus William W. Rucks and his wife, Catherine, has aided the department in securing faculty who are repeatedly recognized for their research and has aided student-affiliated organizations in achieving top honors nationally.
