The Full-time MBA format is designed for young professionals, new in their career or looking to start a new career. These students are not permitted to work full-time while they are taking classes but most of them are supported through 20-hour/week graduate assistantships or through local part-time professional employment. This program is ranked nationally and internationally and incorporates top professional development and leadership opportunities to maximize students' potential.
For those interested, the LSU Flores MBA Program offers a dual degree program with the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center in which students can earn a JD/MBA in four years. Students interested in pursuing this option need to apply to both schools separately and adhere to the requirements for both programs.
The one-year MBA format is designed for you to complete the MBA degree in only 11 months. This program is offered exclusively for those who have earned an undergraduate degree in business from an accredited institution. The 3/2 Industrial Engineering (IE)/MBA program provides high-achieving IE students an option to complete both a Bachelor of Science of Industrial Engineering (BSIE) degree in the College of Engineering and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in the E. J. Ourso College of Business in five years. Pursuing these degrees independently would take six or more years to complete.
During the week prior to the start of your classes, students participate in Launch. This week-long orientation prepares students for the program with a series of professional development, academic, and social activities, and it serves as an important time to get to know fellow classmates. Orientation culminates with a Jazz & Cocktails event sponsored by the LSU Flores MBA Alumni Association.
