Digital Marketing Minor
The Digital Marketing minor is only available to LSU Online students.
The Digital Marketing minor will equip students with the practical knowledge and skillsets necessary to succeed in the growing and in-demand profession of digital marketing. The minor will include exposure to the main, and various other, digital marketing content distribution platforms, such as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat.
Additionally, students will gain experience with digital marketing campaign organizational tools and software, such as Hubspot, Google Analytics, and other data-centric platforms for the rollout of a digital or social media campaign. Students will be able to integrate their knowledge of promotions, marketing research, consumer behavior, and statistics that can inform marketing strategies, tasks, and decisions. In-depth looks at case studies and company campaigns will aid in students' education.
To graduate with a minor in Digital Marketing, students must complete 15 hours consisting of the following courses: MKT 3401; MKT 3421; MKT 3500; MKT 3501; and MKT 4440. Students must have a 2.0 GPA in the courses used to satisfy the minor.A t least nine semester hours must be taken on this campus.
